brightening veils - difference?

can someone describe to me the differences between the Brightening gold & pearl minearl veil? I purchased a pearl and I like how it makes my makeup look but it has a slight peachy/pinky color to it, it's not much but I already have some redness to my face and I think this might be adding more redness. Would the gold be better? I have neutral/warm undertones with some redness on the cheek area. TIA!
