Re: bareMinerals Complexion Rescue Tinted Moisturizer - Reviews & Color Match

I use this and really like it.  Someone here on the Beauty board said they used it and used the bare minerals powder foundation as a concealer.  I decided to try it as I have used bare minerals for years.  But as I have aged, I am 67, my skin has gone from oily to a bit dry.  I would not recommend it to anyone with oily skin.

I wear medium in the powder foundation and Wheat 4.5 in the Complextion Rescue.  It has a sheer finish and I do need to apply a concealer in a few areas as I have a few broken capillaries and some eye area darkness to cover.   I like that it has a sunscreen in it and it gives a bit of a luminous finish.

I cannot comment on the brush as I do not have that one.

Thank you @4kitties - I am thinking about ordering the Wheat or Natural.

The Wheat is the recommended match for me based on my online inquiry and search.  But the swatch on Q seems light vs the Natural which appears darker than what I need.

Very much appreciate your response/info 🙏

@Chi-town girl , I have used it in the lightest shade, I am very fair.  I liked the coverage,  it's light, but good enough.   I recently sampled it again because I'm on a search for an spf tint and decided not to buy again, only because it's very glowy, luminous, and im just not wanting that look for now. So keep that in mind if you like shiny.

@Chi-town girl - This is my HG during the summer. I was using Laura Mercier's when someone thought I might like this. For my fair to light warm complexion Vanilla is my best match. No matter how hard I try to stay out of the sun I still get a little color. Just a while ago an mua at Sephora I've trusted for years said I might want to try Birch, especially in the winter months. I bought the travel size, and  I haven't tried it yet.

I have used the tinted moisturizer and l do like how it looks.  I use the bare minerals powder foundation in the medium beige shade.  My shade in the tinted moisturizer is "natural".

Love it!  I found the colors look lighter on their site than they really are.  I have dry skin and love the feel and look of it.

@Chi-town girl I love this, it's been my go-to for a while now. I use the shade Natural. I have a medium skin tone that is neutral. This works for me in the winter and summer. I apply with a wet beauty blender. Hope this helps!
