Wow, I felt this was the worst season ever! I tried, but every time I tuned in I saw nothing but unkept badly singing contestants. American Idol has slowly declined since Simon left.

The Voice has it over American Idol by a long shot!

I agree PKB. I even stopped taping it because IMHO The Voice is so much better and I'm watching that. I don't think any of the singers on AI are nearly as good as the ones on The Voice. Just my opinion.

Funny ....I feel EXACTLY the opposite! I love the Voice, but I don't think any if the singers left are anywhere in the same league with AI.

It is ironic that I find the Voice to be so much more entertaining than American Idol and I think the contestants on the Voice are better. However, the Voice winners never seem to capture the public and don't go on to a great career whereas some of the American Idol winners have had great careers after their win.

Unlike VaBelle35, I have to say that Harry is the judge I appreciate more than the other two. He doesn't give away his thoughts, and he makes really good critiques for the contestants. I hope he returns over and over again. I do know his family, but that doesn't influence me at all in how I feel about him and his role on AI.

I definitely agree that JLo could learn a lot from Harry. Her reactions are an open book to her preference, and I'm a little tired of hearing about her "goosies". I don't have a problem with Keith. He's been a very good judge.

Don't care for either of the guys. I don't care for rockers and I really don't like Alex. Would love to see Jena win.

The Voice is still young compared to AI. And you're right, the powers that be don't promote the winners like those on AI.

However, the last superstar was Jordin Sparks, and that was season 6 and they're on Season 13! Even Scotty McCreery had kind of faded out!

There have been superstars since Jordin- they just didn't come in first. Adam Lambert! Phillip Phillips has had great success too. The one disappointment for me was David Cook- I thought he was going to be huge!
