ZeroWater? .. vs BRITA? (corrected)

[ Edited ]

Do you have a preference?  Reasons?  Thanks!

I've been using BRITA, & like the taste, (vs city tap water).

...  but I like that "Zero Water" has more layers of filters in their system.

I haven't changed to "Zero Water" yet, because I was concerned that PUR Filters wld be more difficult to find/buy.  but Amz seems to have plenty..

Your experience?  Your feedback?  Thanks!

(edited:   CORRECTED from PUR to my intended "Zero Water")

I know Brita now has come out with the model/filters that filter lead, but I switched to Zero years ago when they came on the market because of all their filtering. Filters are easy to find. I buy extra when I find them on sale.

We still use Brita. I still have filters to use. Mostly I use tap water.

My tap water smells *heavily* of *Chlorine*..(much like drinking from the YMCA pool) ... yuck!   It's kind of right there, under my nose, as I drink from a glass..

*wink*  .. Lucky ppl. .. who can drink tap water that's refreshing, healthy, & doesnt smell offensive!     Certainly the cost of tap water is far more attractive to me!  I use tap water for everything else ..(just not for drinking, for the most part)..

Re: ZeroWater? .. vs BRITA? (corrected)

I use Zero water, but we don't drink it.  We have terribly hard water and the deposits are impossible to clean, so I use it to fill/refill the cat's water bowls.  And yes, I've tried Lime Away and other products that get rid of hard water stain and they don't work.  Plus, who wants those chemicals in a watering bowl.
