Looking for stuff to make me look younger, whatever that is, is not what I'm looking for. Rather, preserving what I have now at 67yo is what I want. I want to look healthy and happy. Got a smile makeover so I can smile more and that makes me happier than any cosmetic can do.

@monicakm   lol  I went through that stage myself.  Enjoy each phase as it comes.

I knew I was heading out of looking younger the first time someone in the grocery store volunteered to help me even before I realized I actually needed the help he offered.  Now I don't hesitate to ask although very often I find others offering on their own.  Rarely do I refuse, a sure sign I know I have moved to a whole new phase.

I know there are phases to come, but hope this one hangs around a few years!

@millieshops

I'm 5 ft and 3/4 inches short. I've had people offering to help me reach things in the grocery store forever.  And the better looking "he" is the easier it is to say, " Oh, are you sure you don't mind? Thank you so much" 😊

What a timely topic, as my birthday is next week. The young RNs who cared for me in the hospital wore very little makeup and looked great.Fresh and vibrant. I thought back to when I was a young cute new nurse, I was in a phase of trying to look like a Cosmo Girl, lol, plenty of makeup, false eyelashes. This was in the early seventies. I even used a long rhinestone studded cigarette holder to complete the image.Haha but I digress.
Now as I'm turning 72, I look at my complexion, my décolleté, and regret the tanning and burning of my youth. And the thirteen years of smoking in my twenties and early thirties. But I do the best I can to look presentable without wasting a lot of precious time on it. As @millieshops mentioned, we pass through different seasons of life. I am trying to embrace these as much as possible.

@monicakm I used to be 5'4" but last time I was measured in my doctor's office, I was 5'1/2".  Your post remimded me of my mother's disbelief when she was weighed and measured in the hospital just before she turned 82.  She disagreed vehemently with their 4'8" height call.  Insisted she had always been 5'1".  We didn't tell her they were right.

It hasn't been painful for me as I've lost height, but lots of my tops that were flattering no longer are.  That's one aspect that has helped me limit remote ordering.  Even a quarter inch or a pattern in the wrong place and I'd be returning something.
