Re: Your Favorite brow product

I use Clinique Brow Shaper in Charcoaled 05.  I too have dark brown/grey hair and brows.  Happy with this one.

Re: Your Favorite brow product

@SeaMaiden Brow products have come a long way. I liked Models Prefer's (QVC) universal taupe for years. They disappeared, then a poster told me they moved to HSN and were selling the same product as "YBF." I purchased it and, yes it was the same.

I tried Laura Geller's marker and loved that, too. Then she said "everyone begged" her (sure) to change the marker point to a tri-tip. I thought I'd try that, and didn't like it as much as the defined point. But I eventually got used to it. I also like Elf in "neutral brown," and Maybelline's ultra slim in medium brown.

However...when I broke my arm and shoulder in three places about 1½ years ago, those pencils were one of the first things I had to say goodbye to temporarily. Although I can get away with no brow makeup, I like a little more definition, so I decided to try a powder. I found one at Dollar General lol--perfect for me because I just wanted to test the application. Well, I loved it so much, I never shopped for a different powder. It stays on all day, too. Maybe a powder would work to cover your grays. This powder (a palette of three shades, of which I only use the middle) doesn't come with a wax, but some do. Maybe that would help it "stick." (Elf also sells a wax stick for stray brow hairs.)

It's also easier now for me to find browns without a red tone. Though my hair has red highlights, my eyebrows never did, and it was initially hard to find browns that weren't "warm." There's much more of a selection now.

Good luck!

I really like the brow kit from Elf, it contains a pomade wax and a powder to go on top of the wax, comes with a duo sided brush and a compact with a mirror.

Re: Your Favorite brow product

I color mine every 4 weeks to match my hair color. But in the meantime I use the IT Cosmetics pencil.

Thankyou for the suggestions! I might try a paste. I have a powder one and the IT cosmetics one...  they are ok...

Re: Your Favorite brow product

For years I used a Clinqiue brow product (I think it was Quickliner for Brows?) in soft auburn.  Perfect for me but they discontinued that shade.  I have since tried Benefit Gimme Brow, NYX Micro Brow Pencil and Elf Instant Lift Brow Pencil all in auburn.  I think I like Elf the best -  it glides on easily with a decent color match although NYX is also pretty good, just lighter in color (ok when my color is faded). At some point I might try the Anastasia Brow Wiz.

A mere $16 here in fact, the BEST and EASIEST product to use on my brows at least. Love this stuff, will not use anything else. It's called Full Brow 3-in-1 Eyebrow Fibre. Buy it here or google this and buy it elsewhere where offered.

LOVE THIS PRODUCT!!!!

I do not nor will I ever use a pencil again. I'm not an artist, I do not use a pencil line on my brows because this is what a pencil does - just draws a very unsightly visible line. NOOOOOOOOOOOOO

I use and love Anastasia's Brow Wiz in Chocolate! I have tried many other brow products, but keep coming back to Brow Wiz, I just love it and find it super easy to use with great results.....

I do also like as 2nd runner up-Benefit Gimme Brow...Another good brow product!

Re: Your Favorite brow product

I wear glasses and bangs  ... so my mostly gray eyebrows aren't all that noticeable.

Every so often, when I think of it, I just dye mine with Just For Men Mustache Dye.

I've been using the NYX Thick it Stick it.  I like it but my bangs come below my eyebrows so this works just fine. I think even if they didn't, this would still work for me (right now).
