Smelling good or sensuously will never go out of style!  Yes you were wrong!

Right now I'm wearing Chanel no.19. Hard to find. Also Chanel no.22.

I wore that scent when we were married in 1983! I loved it and need to track it down again!

The two that I ALWAYS got compliments on - every single time were:

Maroc by Ultima II back in the 80's - discontinued

Ivanka (Yes I know - people who absolutely loved that scent on me often choked when I said what it was) - also discontinued.

I have found none that compare - while many that are OK.

Currently mostly wearing La Vie Est Belle.  I like it and get occasional complements.

Basically - still looking.

@Isobel Archer It can be QUITE frustrating when a beloved fragrance is discontinued!!!😐 I hope La Vie Est Belle is never discontinued because it is a fragrance I revisit on occasion!😊

I wish you luck on your quest for a new scent!😊

I used to have a signature scent -- Cacharel Anais Anais but it was discontinued.

Givenchy Amarige is nice as is Lancôme La Vie Est Belle.

Ulta had a coupon for 20% off $100 & I bought Versace Yellow Diamond Eau de Toilette & a set of 2 small bottles of Viktor Rolf Flowerbomb & Flowerbomb Ruby Orchid.

I tend to like florals.

@JustJazzmom Welcome!🥰 I am going to be diligently watching for Ulta coupons, as this is the perfect time to shop scented gifts for the holidays!😊

@Mustang Shar Welcome!🥰 I wore Red Door by Elizabeth Arden on occasion many sunsets ago but cannot remember how it smells! I think I would like to sample 5th Avenue!😊

Fifth Ave is a floral and I've been wearing for probably 30 years. I can't remember what Red Door smells like.. maybe I'll see if I can find some samples on line to try. I find samples are the BEST way to try something new cuz I cannot afford a full size if I don't like it , right?

@Mustang Shar Welcome! back🥰 Exactly!😁

THANK you SO much for caring to revisit and share the description.🤗

Fortunately, we can buy (or get free) samples to try. I'm finding myself drawn to scents that I never thought I'd enjoy. Which reminds me, I need to order more.

For a fresh, clean scent, I used to wear Pure Grace. I wore it all the time when my children were growing up, but I've moved on. It just seems like something is missing. English Pear & Freesia by Jo Malone has taken its place. I sometimes add a spray of her Wild Bluebell to it.

For a very floral scent, Aventus by Creed is it. It's lovely, and lasts. I'm going to order more samples from them.

One of my fall/winter, or night time,i favorites is Shalimar by Guerlain.

In one of the sample bags I got was Book by Commodity. I love it and intend to purchase all their sample sets.

Good luck with your hunt!

@SnowOwl79 Welcome!🥰 Ah Yessss! Shalimar is an oldie but a goodie!😁 I am going to try to find a sample of Book!😁
