Thank you for the idea!

I just might try it

Don't believe I have ever noticed if I have any sable brushes!

100% Sable tends to be really really soft, even can be made dense.  If you cant find them at Cosmetics, Art supplies places might have them.  I used to Sable mix or 100% Sable for Art.  Good luck!  Woman Happy

Synthetic bristles, or mixed Synthetic would be proportionally really rough.

Re: YT “New” method of foundation application

Hii @LTT1

Im seeing some Sable Cosmetic Brushes, online, but have to be careful.  They might say 100% Sable in the header, but read really carefully, or press the seller, cause many want to add other furs in there like Goat, Squirrel, hardly Mink, etc. But are elusive when read the details from 100% Sable in the header.

Then you need to shop for the correct brush head.  Id think 100% Sable with the Right head would be well worth it!  Maybe I'll look for myself? heh

100% *ALL* Sable Brush will be $$$.  but WELL WORTH IT!!  I suspect soft enough for yr skin, & could be selected Sable densely packed enough for Wayne Goss's technique.  heh  Maybe call/email/Twitter/Facebook Wayne Goss himself!!  If anyone knows, he would!  He's a magician!

@JoyFilled Warrior

Thank you!

Maybe an investment in an all-sable brush would be worth it for me.

Thanks for the ideas!

Hmm.  Something strange about this.  100% Sable brushes I had were darker bristles, & looked softer. altho these might be treated for stiffness.  But the color???

Re: YT “New” method of foundation application

I've been applying loose powder foundation using the buffing method for ages. I guess when Leslie came on with Bare Minerals years ago. I no longer use that brand, but still buff in. Also buff in my tinted SPF. If I used a liquid foundation, if probably buff that in.

I watched the YT video and she's adorable. Has very nice features. I don't know why she only used a speck of foundation though. She should've used more! I don't understand her buffing it into her palm so much either. What a waste! Around her eyes could've used more coverage and she didn't do her entire neck. Got to hand it to her for doing the tight lining with one hand, I need two! Iiked her lips before she put on the dark color. She had a soft look going.

Re: YT “New” method of foundation application

@NYCLatinaMe   I also watched part of both videos and was impressed by the application.  I don't wear any foundation (just concealer in spots where needed),  and certainly not all the layers of make up that most of these "creators" use.   I enjoy watching Nikki LaRose,  but she really overdoes it, IMO,  even when she says she is going to do a simple daytime make up.  OMG...   it's still layer after layer after layer.

Lighting story:

A news network I watch has been closely covering certain events in politics, lately. Because August is filled with vacations, many of the senior anchors are live from "home" studios. The lighting is TERRIBLE. To the point where I didn't recognize one of the anchors, she looked so different with IRL makeup and home lighting.
