The “people” on YouTube keep asking you to subscribe. I get that. I watch on my IPad, so where’s the bell they talk about that gives me notifications of new videos?

Tap on the bell, and a drop-down box will give you notification options.

It's a little icon of a bell, usually in the same line as the name of the channel, i.e.:

Sally's Beauty Channel, SUBSCRIBE, 28,000 subscribers, [little gray bell image]. In that general area.

If you click the bell icon you will get an email every time a new video is uploaded. You can click subscribe alone and not receive all the emails.

@TeezNu That may be location on computer/laptop, but not there on my IPad. Thanks, though.

I have to log in on my desk top to click on the bell icon. Not always convenient.

@Shanus I am on my iPad, so I'm not sure why it doesn't show for you. Are you using the actual YouTube app? (I use the app.) Or the web-based YouTube address?

Anyway, I hope you can get a resolution.

Edited to add: I just checked the web-based YouTube site, and I did NOT see the bell, and I was not logged into my account. Could this be your issue?
