There are many aggressors that cause aging other than just getting old. To try to fight those darn wrinkles from creeping up by  using  an SPF,don't smoke, limit alcohol, exercise, eat healthy foods. Heredity is another major factor. There really is no magic potion other than making sure that your skin remains hydrated. You did not mention though what type of skin you have. If you are dry use an emollient moisturizer possibly one with hyalauronic acid.

@tototwo I agree with you on the inside out part of the equation as well.  We eat healthy and take our supplements, some of which directly impact skin health.

I'm in your age ragne and have had good results from the Dr. Denese skincare products. Wrinkle Defense for the face and/or neck has worked for me. You only use a little bit of the product each time but you see results. It lasts for a long time Hope this works for you as well as it does fo rme.

Re: Wrinkle remover cream

[ Edited ]

I wish I could find a 'wrinkle remover cream'! The closest thing I found is Retin-A and I layer it my vitamin C serum for an extra boost...just don't do that when you're starting out with RA. I've been using RA for years and just recently I came across some info about boosting its benefits with VC serum. So far I like what that combination is doing. My skin looks really good...thumbs up!

The only wrinkle remover that works.

A good way to start would be to just choose a cleanser, serum, and moisturizer--and a sunscreen from a decent drugstore brand. I'd recommend CeraVe or Olay as great for beginners, and low enough in cost for almost anyone to be able to freely experiment to see what your skin prefers.

If Easy Pay is of the utmost importance to you, on QVC these brands are quite good: Algenist, First Aid Beauty, Dr. Dense.

Here is what a scientist told me about "good" skin;

1. Heredity

2. Stay out of the sun

3. Don't smoke

I want to add:    Don't expect miracles.  Any changes you make to your skin care routine will take time (lots of time!) to show improvement.

I'm 62 and never used any wrinkle creams or serums.   Anyone have any recommendations for one that works?  Would like to use easy pay to see if I like it.  Thank you!

It would be helpful to know what regimen you're currently using, @Ladybug57, and whether your skin is sensitive, if you have allergies, etc. It would also be helpful to know whether you want help with fine lines and crosshatching or sun damage or deeper expression lines (11s, marionette, forehead lines, deep crow's feet, etc.) or a combination. How's your throat doing? Any slackness there, tree rings?

The good thing is that if you haven't had a regular regimen, any routine that includes cleansing your skin, some form of dermabrasion, and moisturizing face and throat will improve the appearance of your skin, even if no actives are involved.

@Sugipine  It's so good to see you posting again!.  You were missed!  About layering with vit c.......do you apply vit c  first then RA?   Then do you also use vit c in the morning?
