I ordered a brow pencil from Amazon. It's Anastasia Brow Wiz in soft brown. It goes on easily and the color is perfect for me.

NYC, I get the taupe, can make as dark as you want. Love them, Walmart.

No, they aren't all the same at all. I have tried several I do not like. Some can be too hard and difficult to apply. Some can be too waxy. They don't all come with a brush to brush through for a natural look. All brow pencils are definitely not created equally.

Maybelline Expert Wear Twin Brow and Eye pencil. The pencils come 2 in a pack, traditional pencil you sharpen with a sharpener. The pencil color and cap is red. Comes in several shades including dark brown and black.

I like Elf, get it at Target, comes in dark, medium, and light. Not tested on animals and very inexpensive.

NYX has come out with a new one that is supposed to be a dupe for Anastasia Brow Wiz. They also came out with a pomade supposed to be like the Anastasia Dip Brow. I haven't tried the pencil but I got the pomade and really like it.
