Wish Laura Geller, Mally, and Philosphy were Cruelty Free

I really liked a few items from each line: Laura's eyeshadows, Mally's original blush trio and liners, Philosphy's  fragrances, (but not since Coty's buy out) however, the 3 in 1's stayed pretty true.

Haven't used any of them in years, and won't unless they're not Cruelty Induced.Cat Sad

According to the Ethical Elephant:

Laura Geller has confirmed they do not test their products or ingredients on animals or ask others to test on their behalf. Their suppliers also do not test on animals, nor do they allow their products to be tested on animals when required by law. And finally, their products are not sold in stores in mainland China or any other country that may require animal testing.

By our standards, we would consider Laura Geller to be Cruelty-Free.

@skittles2

Morning! I wore Bobbie Brown and MAC eclusively for years . After I adopted my rescue puppy 8 years ago I decided to go cruelty free . In the beginning it was difficult finding replacements . Now there are so many great brands . As other said Laura Geller is considered cruelty free .

Many can be considered cruelty free.  However, the company that owns the brand may not be.  As long as they don't change the formulation of a cruelty free product that would require testing and selling in China, I will continue to buy those brands that are owned by companies who are cruelty free, but whose company is not.  It's about the product for me.

They all, at some point are eventually going to be purchased by another company.  I've given up chasing and will just buy the ones that I know have a track record of not having been testing on animals.

I believe Mally IS cruelty-free.  These companies just don't want to pay to have that label put on their products.
