These are hooded eyes.  Mine are more like the image on the left. But you learn to compensate for it makeup wise.  My most comman way to wear shadow is matte where my crease would be if I had one and on the outside and shimmer on the inside half.  CP Super Shocks go up to the imaginary crease.

@monicakm   Oh Goodness NO. i gave him to boot not long after!  He was younger than me.  The age was not an issue for me, but he also wanted me to color my "frosted" (his word)  hair Chestnut and grow my hair super long,   get a Spiral Perm (and wear the baseball cap where you pulled the spiral curl ponytail through the back of the cap!  AND get a boob job!
