I've never had a problem with an unopened mascara lasting a long time, whenever I've stocked up on a brand I liked.

Besides, we have no idea how old any mascara already is by the time we get it anyway, whether purchased in a b&m store or from an online source.

If a mascara gets dry before it expires (3 months), you can add a drop or two of lubricating eye drops. I've done it and it works very well.

I change my mascara every 2-3 months. If the seal is good, should be ok. That's the question: are these closed well enough to last?

I happen to love Mally's mascara. I'm fussy about mascara and also fussy to change it frequently due to bacterial contamination. I usually buy Maybelline (Collosal? Rocket?) on sale at Walmart for about five and a half a tube, because I hate paying 15 for a mascara. I think that's outrageous. Mally's is that much better and on sale they work out to drugstore mascara prices. I have a few in reserve from TSV's but six would take me well through a year or more.

I've never had any of my mascaras dry up! I change them frequently due to sanitary reasons but they never dry up.

I have made this particular purchase before, and I must say I enjoyed the value and the product. If you wear mascara everyday, this is a good buy. As long as you use one tube at a time, the mascara stays fresh and intact.
