be showing very uninteresting items lately. Spoons, plates, shovels, mini flashlights, hour and hour and hours of dell computers. And often the prices are the same as at the store.

Don't get me wrong.. I still buy from QVC, and found several good items. And I have relocated recently to a small town type rural area (which I love) but which has only a small selection of stores; so the Q comes in handy. I am a customer who often needs their service.

..but for the average customer who lives in the city... you can find most of their items at your local store or home depot for the same price and don't have to pay shipping and handling. Many of the beauty items are avail at Sepora with free shipping and often with free sales.

QVC can buy in huge quantities from the vendor. Thus they should be able to sell the items for less. The result should be the vendor sells a lot more of his product in a day instead of only selling a couple of hundred; Q makes more money because of more sales, and the customer gets the product for less. That makes for a good strategy.

But a lot of vendors seem to refuse to give lower prices and sell there product at the same price as they charge at Nordstroms. They don't have to advertise, and sell tons more of their line. But the customer doesn't get a value. It costs the same as Nordstroms but you also have to pay shipping and handling costs.

Certain kits are a good value and some TSVs make sense. Also I think QVC is a wonderful way for people who are can't get out or simply live in towns where they don't have malls or a selection of stores.
