Re: Why no Bobbi Brown section?

Love BB skincare and makeup and have used it for years. Recently, however, I'm having an issue finding a substitute for her original formula Luminous Moisturizing Foundation in Warm Ivory (now a new formula and color not true) as well as her lipliner pencil in Brown and Nude. Anybody found replacements for either of these? I've spoken to her customer service reps but no good suggestions for replacing these at this time

I would love a Bobbi Brown section on this forum and often wondered why none yet.

Search for a company called Gone But Not Forgotten. They'll be able to locate the product. I know it's not a replacement for when you truly can't find it anymore, but maybe you'll at least be able to stock up for a while.

I love her understated-ness.

I agree. I love MU and prefer a more natural look than a ""made-up"" look. Less is more.

Re: Why no Bobbi Brown section?

I love Bobbi Brown products, especially the extra skin care line. I've tried every line under the sun and I never had compliments on my complexion until I switched to BB. I have people tell me all of the time that I have beautiful skin, not that they like my makeup. I'm over 50 and I like BB more natural approach to makeup.

Tell me about the skincare. I've always been interested in trying it but not sure it's as scientific and sophisticated as Philosophy or Kiehls (my go-to brands.)

Re: Why no Bobbi Brown section?

I used to use Philosophy, Lancôme an Kiehls as my go to products. I use a clarisonic daily. I still use Purity made simple once a day. I continued to have dry skin no matter what until I tried BB's extra line. I use the extra moisturizer, serum and eye cream twice daily. I also use the extra tonic. At night I use the cleansing oil. There is not a lot of fragrance and doesn't get a lot of advertising, but it does the trick for me. You can go as light or heavy on the moisturizer as you want. I think Bobbi B might have dry skin and she has formulated some of the products for herself. I would suggest you go to counter and try some samples. Nordstroms is very generous if you have one nearby.

Re: Why no Bobbi Brown section?

I don't like Bobbi's eye shadows due to them not having much pigment. I've bought many over time and they have all shown to have very little color pay off.

I love BB lipsticks though and do splurge on them. These are my favorites:

""Pink Beige 62"" Lip Color

""Sandwash Pink 22"" Lip Color

""Desert Rose 25"" Rick Lip Color

""Washed Seashell 52"" Creamy Lip Color

""Tawny Pink 10"" Creamy Matte Lip Color

I am also wanting to purchase her new Lip Color in ""Blush"". These lipsticks last and moisturize never drying.

I love her oil-free tinted spf moisturizer! I also use her under-eye concealer and powder - the little palette that QVC sells lasts a long time. Also use her powder blush, made my own palette with the blush and two eye shadows...makes it so easy to grab and get ready! Loved the Blue Raspberry lip color...not sure if it's still available. I love to watch her for all her tips. Smile

Blue raspberry is one of my faves, too.

Re: Why no Bobbi Brown section?

I didn't try her products for a long, long time because everything was based in a brown. Any kind of browns on my skin and I look like I fell face first in the garden! I need shades of pinks and then one year she had a pink brick palette that I bought and WOW I just loved it. I really do love her line and learn an awful lot when she's on talking about her products. I like her!
