Why do Mally's eyeliners run on me??

Am I doing somethin' wrong? Her eyeliners are not bulletproof on my waterlines (inner rims)....the color travels and I get the raccoon eye look. Help?!?! It also tends to travel a bit when I put it under my eye...but that might be bec of my concealer or eye cream? Help my fellow Mallynistas!
