Why all the hair extensions ?

I am watching the news and everyday I see women with hair that seemed to grow overnight . I realize they are hair extensions . I can tell for - hair doesn't grow overnight and I watch theses women everyday . 2 - I can tell by the ends cause they are more blunt , and just a different texture . 3 - sometimes obvious where there hair ends and extensions start . I'm not saying they don't look good , just wonder why they feel the need I guess . I also wonder if they clip in , which I would hate having all over my head seems would be uncomfortable , or are there all different styles to apply them for lack of a better word ?

They probably dont feel a "need", just I want to. Good for them that they are having a wee bit of fun.

@Kitty Galore There are many ways a person can add extensions besides "clip-ons,"

Clip ons are basically "do it yourself."

To make extensions look realistic is to add "real hair" that is closer to your grade hair by going to a professional weaveologist who willl be doing one of the following........

sewed in

stitched in

crochet in

braided into your own hair

glued on

@Mz iMac Wow there are a lot of options ! The ones I see at least from afar not in person look done very well so most likely one of the options like being sewed in , that must take a long time I would think . Would hair be able to be washed and styled easily with that ?

I'm wearing my new topper and I love it a lot. It makes me look like I have hair on my head instead of going bald. I'm glad I have options.

@Kitty Galore If using "real hair" yes. In my neck of the woods the best & fastest experienced professional weavologists/extensionairs are Africans.

@SilleeMee I say whatever makes one feel good about themselves...Go for it !! It's wonderful there are options out there for women .
