Why I did NOT buy the BE Ready SPF 20 Foundation.................yet

I realize Jessica is going to be doing more of the shows on QVC. Leslie has been preparing us for this for months. BUT..... I do expect to be given adequate information to make an informed decision to purchase.

I posted on QVC's FB page and now I am posting here. What I would have loved to have seen was every color shade of Ready foundation SHOWN ON THE AIR. The color guide of faces is the same as usual for BE. It is NOT showing the product itself. The color guide on the product itself is so off that I dont know if that truly is what it looks like or just a computer color choice for the purpose of ordering.

I wanted to see the actual product used more on a person's skin. Why not take a model who is in the "light" "medium" "tan" and "deep" families and show how the 3 choices look on their skin or on their arms and then the appropriate selection be used on their face?

I must have missed the Ready foundation comment about wears 12 hours. I am glad I only have to use a little product to get "pay off" but why wasn't the product shown better.

While most of you will still be waiting for delivery of your order, I will be going to my local BE boutique and making a color selection in person. Just like I did with the new concealer and stroke of light. It did make a difference in my selection. What I thought I would be according to my original foundation was not what I ended up getting with those products that worked with my skin tone.

I will then be walking to the Sephora in my mall to get the retractable precision angle brush. Why make a Ready product for "on the go or travel" and include brushes that can't readily travel with you? Missed marketing opportunity I guess.

I am hoping BE online will be a better source of information with this launch. I am disappointed in the QVC launch of this product. Some sources say it is lighter than the original foundation... some say they run darker. I have yet to hear anyone say what the finish is more like.... whether it be original, matte, or something else.

Great offer. BUT while the color of the case in silver is nice it is not necessary. The new brush looks great but rather expensive. I would have rather have seen the READY line make "color" compacts according to the product. Foundation compacts Beige, Mineral veil say cream. Blush compacts pink. Eye shadows Black. Then in an instant you would know what compact to grab for. Oh well, another missed opportunity.

I just hope with the upcoming fall shows for BE better presentation and more information is given to make a well informed decision as a BE consumer.
