Who on these boards recommended .........

(1)    Alter Ego Shadow Base.   It i, by far, the best eyeshadow primer I have ever used.   My eyeshadow stays on all day like it had just been applied.  And it only costs $4.00 or $6.00.   Love it!

(2)    Kaja Don't Settle Concealer.   I have tried countless concealers, both high end and drug store.  They all say that they don't crease,  crack or settle into fine lines.  But they all do.   This one really provides flawless-looking coverage without creasing or flaking, for a smooth finish that lasts all day.

Thanks to whoever recommended them.

@Boehm Collector  Wow, thanks for your post. I've never heard of either of these but I'm gonna give them a try.

I'm really getting tired of paying top dollar for makeup that fails me.

I recommended the Kaja product 😁

I need to get a shade or two darker though. I have really good luck with most of the concealers I have after watching a concealer video many many months ago. After the concealer has had time to try, I use my finger and or a sponge to remove excess concealer in the creases. Then very lightly powder the area. If you powder and don't remove the excess concealer you're just setting the concealer in your creases.

@monicakm ... I can't use powder under my eyes.   It is too drying.  Thanks again for recommending the concealer.  Love it!!

@monicakm ...is this good for under eye?  Poster mentioned eye shadow base.

Nevermind...I realized she's talking about  2 separate products.  I looked up Kaja...that may be my next try.

Everything I own creases...

@Dazlin

Have you tried pressing the excess concealer out of your creases after it dries and then powdering?

I do pat, pat, pat...ill try your method.   I have,  Bobby Brown,  Becca, Maybelline,  Cover girl...I do use It illuminating powder, verrrrry lightly dusted with  soft loose brush.    BTW..the Maybelline is the best of all these, it's very brightening.   But, I'll try Kaja next.
