I have never used a eye cream on lids under makeup, just a shadow primer. Maybe some creams actually make good shadow primers.

Kiehl's eye cream with Avocado is the best I've ever used. It's a great product, isn't greasy and diminishes eye wrinkles, plus it keeps that delicate area moisturized all day. Kiehl's is available in some stores and also on their own website and Macy's, etc.

I don't have a dark undereye but I do have crinklies on the top of my cheekbones when I smile.  The Clinque product says for dark circles.  The PTR product is $95 doll hairs!   That's a little out of my tax bracket.  I'll have to find something else.  Thanks tho!

@monicakm I certainly understand the concerns about the price of the products I suggested.  The Clinique All About Eyes is an excellent choice if you go with that one. As you know it's $37 for .5 ounces.  I try to have some financial limits with beauty products and do watch out for specials such as the QVC Elemis 2-pk for the same price as one.  I stumbled upon the PTR because a sample size came (as a free gift) with an Ulta online order. I used some of my Ulta reward points to offset the $75 for the full size.  I only buy the Perlier when Skip is on air because then (if in stock) it is often $39 instead of $99 even if the product isn't presented in the show. 

I know you'll find something good in your price point zone.

Daytime:

I alternate between PTR's Peptide 21 & PC's C5 Superboost Eye Cream.

Nighttime:

PTR's Retinol Fusion Eye Cream

I have enjoyed PTR products in the past and will again I'm sure. I've never tried Elemis products but I'd like to someday.  I love every Kielhs product I've ever tried so I ordered the avocado eye cream and got it on eBay. I don't have a problem buying cosmetics and skincare on eBay as long as the seller has a 99.7% or higher rating and thousands of sales that give him the Top Rated S.eller award.

I just ordered a full size jar (.5oz) from a seller on ebay (99.4% rating).  Had to pay shipping but it still only came to under $31.  I'm expecting great things between this and the Kiehls Avocado eyecream

I've been using The Body Shop products since they first came here from UK late 70's. I like that it is run by women and they help other women worldwide to run there own businesses by growing the organic ingredients.

@monicakm  - I just looked into the Kiehl's avocado eye cream and whoa! It's expensive, at least I think so.  Hopefully you find one you like.
