I think I know what you're talking about.  Not acne or the small milia acne, just the gunk that accumulates in pores.  I've tried various salicylic acids that promise to dissolve that stuff and they never do.

The only thing that I have found that works on that is extraction.  Either professionally or with a home device.  QVC sold one some time ago, called Le Mieux I believe, and it worked.  I'm sure there are others available, or you could consult a dermatologist or aesthetician.

I cannot use any creamy or thick cleansers....only foaming ones so I avoid the dreaded "pore sludge" (smiles) Yes the Le Miex worked fairly well for me too. Darn those enlarged pores I know!

Yes, they are the large hurting ones.  But I can see white in the pores that aren't zits/cysts also.

SKINN Cosmentics makes some good products for cleansing and reducing pores. They've made a noticeable difference for me.

Yes, they are the large hurting ones.  But I can see white in the pores that aren't zits/cysts also.

to know how hurty they can be.   She always says you have

to remove the cyst sack or chances are they will fill back up.  

She usually does an incision to removes the entire sack. 

We can pick & squeeze, but only a pro can remove the sack. 

Sounds like you might make an appt with a derm...good luck, dear!

I had this happen and thought it was my sunscreen in my makeup. I changed (can't remember which brand) and my skin got better. If it was another ingredient clogging my pores in that, I don't know. Now I use Paula's Choice SPF and foundation without sunscreen. If you find this could be it, I'd like to know, thanks! @mima

@Naturesbeauty  I had the white "cysts" or clogged pores under my eyes when I changed to a heavy undereye cream. It was too rich and clogged pores. Derm said called "millia". They have to remove them so that you don't get scars. Some facialists are licensed to remove them but not all.

Microdermabrasion with suction is very beneficial for clogged pores. There are several home devices on the market now to pick from. I think this might be another option to look into for pore management.
