Which cosmetics/ skincare brand/vendor do you think is the best sales person on QVC? Does one convince you to buy something extra or something you don't normally buy?

Don't know that she bolsters my sales, but I just love watching Dara Lynn from Philosophy. I just find her so lovely and a pleasure to watch. I'm kind of over using Philosophy but I like watching the shows and Dara is my favorite vendor.

Laura Gellar because she has a casual, friendly way about her that leads me to believe she could be a good friend.

I have to say that it's all just noise to me at this stage of the game. These days I'm more influenced by magazines and web sites. I read Allure magazine, and always check out Ulta and Sephora etc.  I shop QVC if they offer the best deal, but I just can't watch the presentations because it's the same old same old.

I'd say Poppy King from Lipstick Queen and Edward Bess. They are both really enthusiastic about their products and they seem like they want to sell good products, not just make money.

A friend in need is a friend indeed.

Hello, MommaJWinNJ and welcome. Smiley Happy

To me, Nick Chavez is the best vendor on QVC. What I like about him is that he explains how his products work, how to use them and his products are very reasonably priced.

~Nick Chavez is my favorite vendor on QVC and Alberti Popaj is my favorite QVC host.~

Woman Happy @JBKO  Poppy King loved lipstick since she was seven years old! This woman can wear it so well too. A true Lipstick Queen! I love her passion.

I must say, no vendor can sell anything to me. I don't even watch Q, or Evine, or HSN. I buy from these sites, but without any help from their TV - thank you very much!

You guys, members of this beauty board, can sell things to me much faster!

When I read a sincere positive review here, about some makeup product or line, I may become interested, and check it out. Only then I'd listen and watch the vendor's pitch on a product page, or may catch their show.

Well, maybe there is one vendor, who sells to me EVERY time, only ONE, and she is Manuela from Isomers! I am total sucker there! Everything about her - credentials and personal appearance - sells little bottles to me without a fail! :Cat LOL

No one vendor for me as I just listen and watch and if I think there is something I want to try then  I buy.  Nothing magic anyone can say.  Everyone has differing styles and personalities and for me the product itself is what ultimately is why I buy.  Some products I just seem to know are not for me - can't explain it but it has nothing to do with the vendor or presenter.

Present : Laura Gellar, Doris Dalton Past: Leslie Blodgett, Christina Carlino To me, all have one thing in common - they win high marks for authenticity and likeability.

I like Heidi Guest and Jamie from It.

The Nest lady is a class act.

As for the products:

I can see coming out with new shades of makeup or scents for shower gels but all the 'miracles' on philosophy skincare are getting really old. The prices are crazy too. And the marketing ploy of 'Advanced "Orders really annoys me.

It has been a long time since I have ordered any of their skin care.I do love purity, micro and Nowhere to Hide..the SPF moisturizer.

I don't have the time or the money to put their many products on.

Good thread!
