That is my thinking too. More color brightens her face.

i look at the surroundings in photos... this is not outdoor lighting, which is fine. The lighting seems to do things to colors.

Whoa, that’s a tough one! Do you wear that much other makeup on a daily basis? Makes a difference. If yes, I’d choose #434 for a soft natural look. If you want a brighter shade, go for #430 or #434. Those seem to go with her/your skin tone. As I said, lipstick shades with no other makeup on looks entirely different. We have some reddish areas, maybe more yellow than foundation is covering, age spots, etc. Is your age similar to hers? Lips full like hers or thinning? If lips are thin, lighter shades are more flattering and won’t emphasize that.

There are many variables. It’s best to choose lipstick w/o any makeup. If it looks good then, it’ll look even better with your “face on”.

I lke #432 and #434 for everday wear.  The darker color would be great for night time out.
