Which Falling in Love Spray Dupe is the Best?

I have ordered other scents from both PSS and Hayward, and have sampled the PSS FIL, but it has been a while since I smelled it. I am wanting a spray product, not roll-on. I see that both sites sell it in sprays. Which smells best?

The PSS dupe from a couple of yrs ago was good, but I haven't smelled it recently so don't know if it's the same formula. Haven't tried Hayward. Maybe get samples from both sites?

Hi, Desi. I had almost made up my mind to go ahead and order the spray from PSS. Then I did some internet searching which led me back to this forum (that happens a lot!) where someone mentioned Bathed and Infused dupes. I hadn't heard of that company. Anyway, since their products ended up being cheaper because of a sale, I decided to give them a try. Thanks for your reply.

SHOPR, you are welcome! Let us know how you like the B&I dupe. They're also a good site, and I think they give tiny samples of something with purchase, so that's always fun.

I rec'd my order from Bathed & Infused. In the Falling in Love dupe, I got the body mist and body wash.

The body wash seems very moisturizing (best test of this would be in the winter) leaving my skin feeling smooth and silky, and it has a very nice FIL-like smell.

The body mist is alcohol free, and I love the scent of this. It's very close to FIL, actually better to my nose because of the absence of alcohol. Unfortunately, the scent doesn't last long at all. Maybe an hour or two. If I reorder the mist, I will ask for extra fragrance.

FWIW, I also got the Beach dupe mist. I have never smelled Beach or any other dupes, so I can't compare it. However, I can't tolerate it. I smell something really strong that reminds me of jasmine and a little Coppertone. My nose started itching like crazy and I had to wash it off. It has a very strong scent in the mist, though, unlike the FIL mist. I react to lots of floral fragrances.

I also got Vanillla Bean Dream VBN dupe in the body wash. To me, it isn't a really close match, but it's close enough that I think if a person likes VBN, they will also like the dupe. Smells yummy, and again, seems moisturizing, etc.

SHOPR thanks for the great B&I reviews! The Falling in Love dupes sound nice, glad it was a close match. I haven't sniffed real Beach either. I do like the PSS dupe but it is strong too. I think it sounds similar to what you received, so that might be a no for you at other sites too. The VBN also sounds good.

Hi again Desi,

I have read many praises here of Beach, but somehow I never realized it had the strong floral (jasmine) presence. My fault for not looking it up first. I will give it to one of my sisters or my mom and it will get used, no doubt.

I've had good service at PSS, Hayward and B&I. No problems at all, other than not liking or tolerating some of the fragrances I've tried.

Happy to share my experience. I've learned a lot about different fragrances here even though I don't read very often.

Probably not quite a dupe, per se, but BBW has a blackberry & vanilla scent that is really nice and similar to FIL. Of course, not a complete match, but similar notes.

Is it the one on the website now called Black Raspberry Vanilla, or is there another one without the raspberry scent? Thanks.
