I think all of the above posters have valid points. I have always been one to 'visit' to read, catch up on what people are sharing and sometimes even read for the 'entertainment' value. Products are discussed, either from here or other sites and I have always appreciated 'reading' about the experiences others have had. I have to wonder what is going to happen as well. I really miss the old site, for many reasons.

I've cut my checking in by about 50%. Yes, I've tweaked my settings and can get around pretty easily but this new board is hard on the eyes. The MS Office 2013 also has a lot of white and after looking at that all day I can't look at this board too.
This board has become too cumbersome when just wanting to browse the topics; there is a lot of extra stuff on the left side that spreads the topic box out too much; it needs to be tightened up. (I hope that makes sense). Too much scrolling.
And then depending on what link I click on to view the topics the listing looks different on each sort, there is no consistancy.
I enjoyed the old board a lot more.

Hey everyone thanks for all the replies! It's nice to see familiar names. Hope this place gets more active again despite the problems!

A lot have left because they don't like being monitored here. QVC is watching this board much more diligently than before and those who can't play nice have gone off and made a board of their own. I haven't been there but I hear it is vicious.

I think there's less activity and fewer responses to posts because we can't discuss anything that matters to anyone. Apparently, the board is now limited to discussing QVC products and recipes. We can't discuss current events, we can't discuss news stories of the day, we can't even comment on someone's post unless are comments are all lovey-dovey; it you happen disagree too strongly, the moderators yank the post. And it's all totally subjective. I think some of the people who liked discussing something other than Linea and WEN have just dropped out.
This is what I think a lot of it is. It's frustrating.

Only the well mannered posters are left because we are forced to be sweet and nice to each other. Just like in real life.
I don't know how true this is. I see a lot of posts that have been removed for being argumentative, rude, etc. Those posters just keep on going.

Yes, they seem to be montoring these boards much closer. I cant imagine we didnt bring a little of this on ourselves. Posters would report threads before just because they didnt agree with opinions. That was a bit ridiculous. I cant imagine the volume they must have gotten. Plus the fact we had that crazy person here for awhile clogging up the boards.
Hopefully, they will loosen up after a little while.

I havent seen the argumentative posts yet, however, I hope they dont start to remove everything. A little discussion should be allowed. Disagreeing isnt a bad thing. But, maybe it will help some of these posters not be so downright mean.

Don't know why qvc thinks customers aren't capable of discussing current events. That said, I did see at least one current event being discussed and it had not been "poofed" yet.
Wish they would get rid of the host's blogs if customers can't discuss them.
