Although my posts are few, I use to come here about every day. I even bought some products on some people's recommendation. It's too confusing now, and all the new posts are about Wen. Just my 2 cents.

@JJDaughterz64, welcome.
I think things may pick up again once people get used to the new format.
@BootLvr, QVC put many of the sub-forums back. They're under a new heading called "My Favorite Brand" and it's right underneath the "Forums" folder.

I may be in a minority here, but if people really want to be here, they will make an effort. There is no reason to leave the beauty forum, or posting on this Board for that matter. Some people merely use the very basic features and are doing just fine.
MANY posters have kindly helped others navigate this Board while the Q Team is tweaking the problems.
In my opinion, the biggest problem is not easily finding recent posts and getting back to posts one has commented on. There are ways to get there but the effort it takes is somewhat tedious.
Giving up doesn't help. The last "reform" created a storm, but now people are screaming to have it back. I say, let's not give up and give it more time.

@Chisos and any beauty posters, I can offer some of the things that I found out which may make things easier in the interim. I apologize if you already know these, but maybe it will help someone else here - and keep you posting!!
The "easiest" way to keep track of your favorite posts on a forum is to "float" the thread. This way, it will appear at the top of the forum list when you choose the particular forum.
FLOATING A THREAD
When you find the thread you want to keep tabs on:
1. Click on that thread
2. Go to the Options link next to Reply( at the top of the thread in the Red box) and click on it
3. Select "float this topic to the top"
Everytime you go into that forum, the threads you floated will appear at the top of the forum list
FINDING MOST RECENT POSTS
1. Click on Blogs & Forums under the Community Menu at the far left of the page;
2. Where you see Recent Forum Posts scroll to the bottom of that and click on "view more recent posts";
3. At the top of this new page, click on the View link at the top of the posts and select "by post"
4. This should give you the most recent posts on all the topics by time and you can timeclick on the time (far right) and find the most recent post
Unfortunately, this does not work quite so well in a particular forum (and I cannot for the life of me figure why this was not done here as well). If you want to find the most recent posts on a particular forum you have to:
1. Click on the forum you want (e.g. Beauty) under the Community Menu;
2. It may or may not show the time in exact order of the latest post (I just tried it and it did - maybe that was fixed?) We don't have the same simple option here for viewing by post or topic (post is what you always want).
I hope this didn't complicate things more, but certainly it is worth a try?
Then there is how to get all your posts - original and other - but that is a whole other topic...

Those of you who seem to be upset with the forums change, maybe need to think about why
QVC did this.

I don't believe for a moment that it was a nefarious reason.

I can't really speak to why other people haven't been on the boards but there are two reasons that I have been checking the boards less:
1. I mainly came here for information about TSVs, handbags and beauty shows, but there hasn't been anything interesting on QVC (or HSN for that matter). I know it's summer but does that mean that no one is shopping?
2. I loved the old board format that had all the top posts from the top forums. Now it all seems jumbled together so I find it a little time consuming to click through all the boards I'm interested in for a topic I'd like to read about.
I have noticed the censored posts about blocking political post, I have mixed feelings about that. I agree that the boards should be moderated but sometimes a thread needs to grow a little before it can be deteremined to be controversial. I'm optomistic about about the boards, with a little tweaking they can be revivved (fingers crossed) which is why I keep checking back.

Due to some technical difficulty some posters could log in and read the threads, but not post. In my case the posts were not showing up although I was getting a post successful message. The new board was rolling for a couple of weeks before I could post. People get frustrated when things don't work properly and some of the frustrated may just be reluctant to, or no longer care to return.
