Well.....the beauty blender sponge needs to be washed after every time as well. And while I liked the effect if gave me........I don't think it was really any better than a good quality brush..........and I never felt as though I could get the sponge completely clean. It was always stained from my foundation.......whereas I do feel I"m able to get a brush completely clean. 

 

They are both good......I have both........am just liking my IT brush a bit better at the moment.

Whenever I use a brush to apply my foundation make up I always wash it afterwards .... keeping the brush clean prevents bacteria & fungus from forming. .... 😄
