Re: When will QVC start selling face masks ?

I think wearing a mask will be the new normal for awhile so I am stocking up.

Just ordered one set of the 50 disposable masks from the Q. Estimated delivery May 19. I also bought a few cloth masks from LA apparel & Serengetee. My sister made several masks for our family and gave me 2. I also made the foldable version with rubber bands. We have a few construction masks left over from our basement remodel.

Re: When will QVC start selling face masks ?

A few weeks ago I asked my neighbor that sews to make several masks for my husband and his employees.  I ordered 2 masks from Vera Bradley,  but they are usually sold out.  Made in the USA.

Re: When will QVC start selling face masks ?

I don't know if anyone has the 'Nexdoor App' on their phone. I do and check to see whats going on in our neighborhood. When the virus broke out, there were so many women making and selling masks. One women caught my attention because her masks were embedded with copper and silver nitrate which are both known to be anti-microbial. They are 4 layers thick. She was selling them for $4.99 each. I called her and ordered 6 masks, two for me, my husband and son. They were cloth, easy to breathe and can be washed by hand in soap and water 30 times.

The woman selling them is Japanese and the masks come from Japan. We liked them so I orderd 12 more so we each had 6 each.

Check your neighbor apps to see who is selling in your neighborhood. She didn't ship to me, I met her outside Panera Bread. No shipping charges. I'm impressed, these masks are well made and comfortable to wear.

Why would anyone pay $50.00 for disposable masks from CHINA! Go to Etsy and get your masks there. Handmade, pretty, unique and cute prints to chose from. Just wash and reuse. I have bought so many from there. If I have to wear a mask, I want it to be pretty or cute.

Re: When will QVC start selling face masks ?

I ordered some and they were made in China.  Horrible quality and very thin.  Waste of money.  I still had some masks from a couple of years ago.  Because we always have wild fires.  What a difference in quality.  I think a lot of  cmpanies take advantage of a bad situation and rip people off with low quality masks.
