I can't say that I've experienced anything even close to being gummy like hairspray with WEN products. Pretty much the opposite! I can't imagine it would be the RTM considering you can even spray it on your skin. If there were anything sticky or gummy in it, one would feel that on the skin for sure, especially when it is still wet. It's been awful humid here. Perhaps the humidity is making your hair act up? Though that does not explain the stickiness. I have no idea!

Yes, the RTMs I've tried are kind of sticky in my hair and makes it tangly when it dries.

I don't find that it makes my hair sticky (unless it's the kids' WEN, which are different), but it does make my hair feel thicker. I usually don't use the Replenishing Treatment Mists on my hair and find them much better for my skin or my pillow. For my hair, I use Ouidad's Botanical Boost, instead.

I love to keep the Sweet Almond Mint RTM in my fridge and spray it all over my face and body when I come home when it's 90+ degrees outside.

What RTM formula(s) did you try that felt sticky? I found some of the core formulas did this a bit and have much better results with the seasonals.

Hi Missklynn! I use SAM, Lavender and SHP, currently the SHP. I don't remember this being an issue when I would CC with the original products; the menthol was an issue so I switched to the Kids WEN. Still, I use SHP and FIG as my last cleanse but don't touch the scalp and use it as my leave in (again, not near the scalp).

It is hot and humid in the DC area, so maybe that's part of the problem. WHen I CC tomorrow, I"ll use the WEN styling duo and see if that makes a difference with the RTM.

I find that the RTMs make my hair dry and take the curl out of my hair so that it looks like I have an afro...albeit a very dry afro.

The only RTM that does not do that is the SHP. It is the first one that I actually like. I have the 2 oz size from the 3-piece OTO, but I am going to buy a full-sized one.

I love the RTM and use it daily on my face and hair. Just makes my hair soft and silky. Sorry it isn't working so great for you. It is nice and refreshing when used on the skin and I don't have any problem with breakouts when I use it on my face. Maybe you would enjoy using it on your skin instead of your hair

I have to second this, it is great on the face and body. I have been using all of mine as an after shower spray and if I get hot during the day as a cool me down. They also do a great job of setting your makeup if you wear it. My BGT is like a portable spa. While I wait for that *�() 613 fragrance to finally get here especially.

It is much less so on me with the BGT, still I prefer it on my body and face. My hair feels softer without it.

I'm in PG, MD, so I have the same humidity. I had the same problem when we were on ice this winter.
