I'm looking for a shampoo and/or conditioner that I feel really makes a difference in my hair. I've used Wen, Olaplex, Redken color treated hair and Redken All Soft, and Pureology, and I haven't felt any of them leave my hair soft and hydrated. I'm looking forward to your recommendations.

I still occasionally use purple OlaPlex and Redken when I need it, but Tweak'd shampoo, conditioner, revitalizing mist, and stylng cream have been my go-to's for quite some time.

I was using Olaplex's whole line and my hair felt and looked great until it became so dry it was raining broken and damaged hair hair while reading my iPad. I currently am a big fan of oiling my hair. I have been doing it for a few months and it has made a big difference. I also switched to moisturizing, hydrating products, cut back on the heat on my hair and only wash twice a week.
I alternate between so many products but they have made a huge difference. My stylist said my hair has really gotten healthy and while still somewhat dry she said it has come a long way and the breakage is minimal now.
I am using Color Wow hair serums, hair oils on dry hair, Amika Hydro Rush shampoo and conditioner, Amika Dream Routine at night, Reden Anti Snap (the whole line of treatments) Eva NYC 10 in 1 hair oil for heat protection (one of many) Redken United 25, Sally's Bomd Bar line, Aveda Moisture, Moreno Hair repair treatment, and the list goes on.

@Glorimar ...........For me its Garnier for curly hair products. Its inexpensive and my hair is in great condition. I even use their styling gel for curly hair.

I use Tresemme products almost exclusively and get compliments on my hair quite often. They have lots of different formulas for different hair needs, and the products are inexpensive--I get mine at Walmart.
My hair is wavy with some curl, fairly thick, and not colored.

@Glorimar OMG! JVN hair products....S&C, styling products...all of the line. I've never thrown out everything else in my "hair closet" and only used JVN for almost 18 months now.
This a line of hair products by Jonathan Van Ness (of the Queer Guys group on TV). He was the hair and beauty expert on the shows. Developing this line with several choices of S&C (hydrating, voumizing, etc.) was his dream.
JVN products are clean beauty, bottles and tubes are environmentally safe aluminum, tubes of styling products come with a key to put on the end to roll up like toothpaste and get every last drop.
My hair is wavy/curly (2C, 3A), silver, which makes it a bit more dry. I use the Hydrating S&C, Air Dry Cream...a lightweight cream gel (but diffuse dry most of the time) and the jar of Instant Recovery Serum which is the heat protectant and deep conditioning styling product. I section my hair and apply both to wet/damp hair.
JVN can be purchased online on his JVN site (sale now 20% off or more) or at Sephora (no sale prices). There are many videos on the JVN site to explain the line and how to use and/or choose the products for your hair. There's even a 30 sec. quiz to help you decide which products to purchase.
If you go with this line and don't love it, catch up with me and I'll pay you back ALL your money spent. LOL. Everyone I've recommended this to has stayed with it and never looked back.

@MG Chris I've read that Olaplex is a bond builder and not a conditioner...even the S&C dried my hair out badly. The bond builder (forget which number) should only be used ocassionaly, but even then, it did nothing fantastic for my hair.
IMHO, Olaplex is over used, over hyped and over priced.

I have been using LolaVie hair products and I am impressed. A friend raved about these products so I decided to give them a try. There is a try me set on the website if you are interested.
the website has travel sizes and Ulta carries the travel (try me ) kit.

I fried my hair almost two years ago. I lost over half of my hair down to the scalp. The Olaplex was recommended by my stylist and I liked it when it worked. They my hair became brittle and dry. I still have a lot left of the different numbers but am going to use them sparingly to use them up.
