What's your tipping point from viewing a presentation to actually picking up the phone & making a purchase? My New Standard for buying products on QVC:
I will:
-not buy a ‘named’ product without that actual person presenting it in one form or fashion (i.e. Perricone products…I want Dr. Perricone to be in the studio, next to the hosts, educating me about the product. Yes, he calls in from time to time, but that’s not the same). I want to be able to hear it straight from the horse’s mouth…and if I wanted to talk to them, I could. Some popular brands (Philosophy) will have several ladies on to present, but Cristina makes an appearance from time to time. Even Clarisonic…Dr. Robb, the inventor, presents it. What makes Dr. Perricone different?
-not buy any product where the brand doesn’t use QVC models…..unless they are launching the product. The models are part of the QVC brand & important part of the presentation. I trust the product when I see it on a familiar face.
-not buy any clothing where the models are picking, fussing, pulling, re-adjusting while they are actively modeling the item. Good lord…if it doesn’t work on their body, why would it work on MINE? J
Do you have any ‘guidelines’ like this?
