Boom shakalaka, I'm good to go!!!!!
Like I said..."glad I'm retired."
Adding Boom Shakalaka to morning routine.
Somehow I think this gives a nice afterglow to the skin.
Sly and the Family Stone first thing in the morning just makes my head spin.
I use African Black Soap in the morning b/c I don't have to worry about my eyes so much then. (African black soap burns your eyes right out of their socket as does Dr D, PTR anti aging cleanser. The benefits are worth it tho)
Then Unwrinkle peel pads while I Oral B and SuperSmile my teeth, TATCHA Essence followed by PTR water drench and either ultimate miracle worker if makeup is to follow, Josie spf47 if not. I had to add lots of red and brown MUFE color adjuster but it's passable.
My new discoveries are Fenty Beauty Foundation, colored Raine Queen of Hearts or Huda Beauty Desert Dusk eyeshadow Palette, Wonderbrow and Milani liquid lip over old timey MoodMatchers lipstick. (Still watching YouTube to try to learn how to properly, presentably paint on my face now that there are colors that match) it's easier now that I'm old enough not to give a flying fig who has what to say about it, and I don't have to pass inspection any more.

(1) Either wash my face with CereVe Foaming Cleanser at the sink, or SkinActives Daily Scrub in the shower.
(2) Apply Vitamin C serum first.... then, if I feel like it, might put some CereVe daily moisturizer over it.
(3) If I go out later, I'll apply some makeup, or not...
@Katcat1, you use more stuff every morning than I even own!
(I like my Boom Shakalaka with a little wine in the evening, thankyouverymuch)

I don't think you are using or doing a lot at all!
Lately, I have a much more elaborate a.m. routine, including facial massage (but no real cleansing) and, ever since I learned about the tapping method, I've been doing that, too.
And then still use my basic day skincare: vitamin C, AHAs, followed by a smidge of moisturizer (since by this time, I hardly need any at all!)
Followed by a simple makeup: brow, eye liner, mascara, a swipe of Bye Bye Pores (to cut shine) and lip.
I always liken (everything I do, really) to how a musician (me) needs to practice to glean noticeable results. No practice = no good results; no investment in skin care = let's just say, I don't want to find out!

Wash face - L'Occitane Shea Butter Gentle Soap
Oil Pulling
Brush Teeth
Toner (witch hazel)
Dr. P's AG Eye Serum
Serum
Moisturizer
Do my eyebrows (since I hardly have any) if I'm going out
Lipstick (if I'm going out)

Gee, I use double the products you do, lol! I'll probably be shamed for using so much by the naysayers after I list everything (wow, 16 products!). I'm definitely not au naturel!
Let me preface this list by saying that I'm 60, live in a sunny, hot/humid climate and still have an oily t-zone with lots of old acne scars/freckles/age spots to cover up so I don't scare small children:
Aveeno Ultra Calming Foaming Cleanser
Mad Hippie Hydrating Nutrient Mist
Missha Time Revolution The First Treatment Essence Intensive
Mad Hippie Vitamin C Serum
Simply Venom Day Cream (around eyes only)
Australion Gold Tinted Face Botanical Sunscreen SPF 50
If I'm going out in public and not just hanging around the house:
Laura Geller Spackle makeup primer
Maybelline Fit Me! Matte & Poreless Liquid Foundation
Maybelline Fit Me! Concealor
Maybelline Master Fix Setting Loose Powder (to set concealor)
Maybelline Fit Me! pressed powder (to set foundation)
Tarte matte blush
e.l.f. Matte Magic Mist & Set (makeup setting spray)
e.l.f. brow pencil
Covergirl Lashblast mascara
lipstick

First, best beauty-type advice I ever got was from my mother and grandmother who said to never wash your face in the morning!! They warned that washing stripped the skin of the essential oils that our body produces while we sleep. Of course they also told me to never, never, ever go to bed without washing my face!! And may I say they both had beautiful skin and.....very, very few wrinkles, even well into their 80s! And being in the Baby Boomer age group, I can truthfully say that like them, thus far, I have very few!
So having said that, lol...my routine is:
Sebamed Moisturizing Face Cream
ELTAMD SPF 41 Tinted Cream (comes in a tube)
IT Cosmetics Matte Eye Shadow
Clinique Quikliner eyeliner
No mascara
I have a very pale complexion so need some foundation or else I look totally washed out so..
I use the Wayne Goss trick of dusting on a tiny, tiny amount of loose powder first..use IT Bye Bye Pores...it works like magic in keeping my foundation on all day long with no touch-ups needed
Then I use a very light dusting of IT Cosmetics Celebration Foundation in Light (love this stuff - literally takes under a minute to apply - have found the quick stipple technique is best!!)
And a light dusting of IT Sweet Cheeks blush
Lipstick...fave is Cover Girl in a pale rose shade

@tiny 2- I love cream stick blush. It’s all I’ve used for years. This particular one is discontinued (of course), so I’m going to have to start the search fairly soon for a replacement. I plan to stay with the same type.
