I bought a Tria Hair Removal Laser. It worked beautifully - on the 4 hairs that it removed. My hair is too light. And when they say it works well with dark hair - believe them.

I spent quite a bit of money when I bought it. And can't seem to have the nerve to throw it out - yet. But if you have dark hair, it works well.

Bought the same Tria Lazer some years back to use on my daughter's chin.  She has very dark, course hair to begin with and the dark chin hairs were an embarrassment.  It did manage to eliminate much of the chin hair for a while, but they did grow back eventually.  She now uses an electric razor for women.   I still have the Tria but, like you,  have not tossed it yet as it was very expensive when I purchased it.

Re: What's the best facial hair removal device ?

@Kitty Galore , I have the Flawless facial device.  It's a good temporary,  but you may find the hairs return within 2 days.  A longer lasting facial hair removal would be Nair for face.  As for me, it goes deeper and lasts over 2 weeks.   I use both.   The Flawless for a quicky, and Nair for a more thorough and longer lasting.

If you're looking for a long-term hair removal solution then I suggest getting an at-home IPL hair removal device. Either that or a more expensive laser-type (not IPL) hair removal device. IPL and laser options will give you long-term and permanent hair removal results. There are so many brands on the market right now and most of them are nearly the same. They will not work on peach fuzz, gray or very light blonde hair. Skin color is also something you need to look into also to see if it will be right for you.

This looks good, @SilleeMee .  First time I'm seeing it.  I pulled my MeChic out a few weeks ago and started with it again. I'm hoping to stay more faithful during maintenance this time.

@JeanLouiseFinch

It's a really good shaver. I used it while I was doing the MeChic IPL treatments. If you're looking at Amazon to purchase that Panasonic shaver, I suggest you put it in your cart and wait until it comes down in price to just under $20 and it will. The price of that thing has been fluctuating like crazy, daily. So as soon as it comes down to $20 then snag it.Woman Wink

Re: What's the best facial hair removal device ?

@Kitty Galore - I use the Emjoi Erase I got here some years back. I don't know why QVC isn't carrying it any more because they do carry the brand. You can get it other places though.

 I use it on my legs, and about once or twice a month on my chin. That's all I need, because it pulls the root out. I'm blonde, so the laser removers won't work for me. Once you get used to the initial small "sting" when the hair is pulled out, you don't even notice it.  Smiley Happy

I have been using an epilator for years. However, after using it for such a long time I have very little hair to deal with anymore. I have the emjoi erase for legs and a smaller emjoi with just 18 tweezers for my chin hair.

Years ago I had an at home laser, that worked but was really time consuming, the epilator is quick, easy and occasional.

@JeanLouiseFinch - I have this shaver.  Bought it after I saw @SilleeMee recommending it.  Like it a lot.  Also have an emjoi epilator and use both.

Once my beard started coming in, I bit the bullet and got a epilator.  Figured it was not going away and the mustache was getting ideas.

My esthetician...LOL!  I get a combination of waxing and threading to remove facial hair.  Lasts 8 weeks.

I have the Conair  hair removal but it does nothing for removing hair on my chin or side of face .   I bought it to clean up my hair line in back for when I wear my hair up .  My skin is sensitive so I wouldn't want to use anything g too sharp.   Would love any suggestions 😺

@Kitty Galore   DH has an electric razor with a trimmer attachment for his sideburns, etc. He does the back of my neck when needed.

Sides of face peach fuzz, chin and really all over face I use those inexpensive inexpensive razors w/ a flip top cover. They come in pkgs. of 3-5 at Amazon. Not only does it take the hair off, but I get the added benefit of exfoliating the skin.
