The best styling irons on the market hands down:  Hot Tools.

 

I have two different barrels and bought them both on sale at different times right before the Christmas holidays.

 

They are extremely good and easy to use and top notch.

Dear Kitty,

Mine is ghd eclipse 1" I love it because it does not burn your fingers. You have to use it with dry hair. It is very light, does not damage your hair, and it takes a few seconds to start working. You do not have to be a rocket scientist to use it well. Believe me I am not and can do marvels with it.🌻

I've used the 1 " barrel of Helen Of Troy for about 30 years for my shoulder length hair.  The only thing I've had to do is replace the spring and they give you a spare.  I've bought only two.  They've lasted that long!

 

I get them from Sally Beauty.
