I hate these lists ..... it implies that women are just mindless sheep that will stop doing one thing and start doing another just because some silly blog person said so! They want you to think they are "experts".

Of course, depending on the source, it might be an attempt to sell more (new) product.

Nevertheless, I must ask ..... what determines whether a braid is serious ... or whimsical?

@Tinkrbl44 I think "whimsical braids" are "accent" braids .Sometimes "messy," but sometimes can be a little more "sleek."

I really think the out list is formulated by those who can't pull off the look they want to achieve. If you are using a method and it is working for you and you are happy with the way you look, then trash the list from the so-called experts. They are probably the ones who think green hair is attractive. I personally need to use an eyebrow stencil every once in a while. As long as the color is right your golden.

I wish I were talented enough to create whimsical braids. However, I would be very happy to see matte lipstick go. Looks awful on everyone, imo. I wish skinny jeans and jeggings were on that list. Some folks love them, but I have never seen anyone of any age or size look good in them. No offense, if you love them.

Calm down Tinkrbl44....I shared this list in jest. Did you not read my comment? I thought the choices were random and funny, even more so because there were no pictures or explanations offered with the list.

I don't perceive any implications about me or any other woman being a mindless sheep.

Besides, who are "they"; you shouldn't allow any of your choices on anything be determined by "they"

And yes, I did read your OP but saw nothing to indicate you thought it was funny. Actually, your last paragraph indicates you didn't bother to fully read my post. You don't need to lecture me about who to listen to, and who to ignore. Sorry if I confused you.
