I use drug store shampoos. I long ago gave up high dollar salon products. They've never done anything for my hair drugstore products don't do. I'm not even loyal to any drugstore products although there are some I won't use.

I like SKINN shampoo and conditioner. It adds volume to my thin hair without the drying effect. I also, like Paul Mitchell Tea Tree shampoo once every so often too - the smell is invorgating, makes the scalp tingle a bit, and really cleans the hair good.

My fav is Avalon Organics Thickening Shampoo. It has Biotin, b-complex, is vegan and has no GMOs, parabens, preservatives, is cruelty free, etc. I have very thin, fine hair and started using this last November. I have tried all the "thickening" shampoos and never saw a difference until I tried this one. Absolutely love it!!

Fine, curly/wavy hair...Dry Az heat, it's a Wen day everyday here, it's how we beat that dry heat! Thank you Chaz..
.And I might add if you have never tried the Men's Wen cleansing conditioner, you should.

Usually I use Color Proof shampoo & conditioner. The founder of the line is the man who owned PureOlogy. Occasionally I still use the original Moroccan Oil line. I still love the smell and shine.
Tomorrow I am going to a new salon. (I broke up with my old salon after my last and worst haircut ever) The one I went to for 20 years was an Aveda salon. I loved their hair dye but their shampoo and my hair did not mix well.

@wonderfulworld wrote:I have been using Pureology for a number of years. They discontinued (of course!!!) the Pure Volume one I used so am now trying Fullfyl, the new version for color treated hair that needs texture and density . It is expensive but concentrated and keeps my color from fading. My hair dresser recommended it.
Jim Markham, the founder of PureOlogy, has a new line Color Proof. I've been using it about 2 years and really like it.

I don't stick with any one brand forever, right now I am using Obliphica Seaberry shampoo, Nick Chavez Vol. shampoo, WEN, and just started using Philosophy's s,bb and sg. All of those products make my short fine thin hair look fuller, I don't color my hair and I only shampoo twice a week. My husband and I like fancy personal care products and are always trying new products.

@lulu2, That is the worse feeling to have a bad haircut. I had one over 2 months ago and then a sr. designer had to fix it and cut it shorter than I like so I had to let it grow out. The person that gave me the bad cut had no business being on the floor cutting. Just had another haircut by the sr. designer that fixed my hair. Good luck to you.

I shared my 3 favorite salon poos as far as drugstore shampoos I like Garnier Wole Blends. They have Argan Oil ( or other oils in the newer ones) in it and its suprisingly high on the ingredient list.
