What is the difference in Size of Reg Eyeshadow and the smaller ones in Kits?

What is the difference in size? I swear the eyeshadows in the kits go so fast for me. At least the light all over colors. Does anyone know the difference? Its got be at leat 1/4 of the size of the reg full size.
