What is it about all these oils???

Seems thats all i see on here anymore,is the new oils..well,whats up with thoses,and why are they so exclusive?

Ive been useing olive oil for years,and it does everything i need it to,so iam confused about all these others out there,how do we know were they come from?

I remember seeing an oil from hsn on larun huttons makeup..but now,seems everyones on the band wagon!
