What happend with Mally's Guide to Gorgeous 7-piece Collection ???

I purchased Mally's 7 pc collection when it was a TSV.

What happened? {#emotions_dlg.confused1} There are so many reviews with only 3 stars - very few that rate it 4 or 5 stars.

Sadly I myself gave it 3 stars & sent it back. I have other Mally products and was quite pleased but I found myself not liking the primer, eyeshadow at all. I did like the eyeliner & and bag was awesome but not for the price.

Has anyone else purchased this kit and returned it?

I'm not finding it on the site.....

Wanted to add that my gut says this will be AD set that she'll cancel. Stinks because I signed up for AD and love the kit. From what I read here and on Beauty, many didn't like the primer (though I do believe a HORRIBLE job was done of explaining the "what and how" of it), the liner was basic black (many of us no longer use black) and the price was a too much for a supposed "Special Value".

Just my guess.

I happened to have really liked the kit. I use the primer more as a finishing powder with my sephora airbrush foundation. The foundation is Alittle to light and with the fair in the Mally it makes my skin look flawless. I love the lipgloss color and the eyeshadow is my kind of shade since I am more of a neutrals type girl. I haven't tried the mascara or the eyeliner as I am using up a mascara. It is my first real Mally purchased that I like since I discovered that her face colors run Alittle dark.

I love the kit, too. My a/d status still shows "active" so I'm wondering ??? Maybe this kit is no longer available for purchase but people signed up for a/d will get the followup shipments? I don't know; I've never had a tsv a/d cancelled--I have seen them delayed though.

C/S rep told me on the phone that the kit is no longer available for purchase but that those on a/d for this will get their followup shipments, one in the spring and one in the fall. Hope she is right. This primer actually works for me as a foundation over my liquid primer.

Re: What happend with Mally's Guide to Gorgeous 7-piece Collection ???

I bought this kit and returned it.

I was SO disappointed in the included products, especially the "primer" which did not seem like a primer at all. I didn't need instructions... in fact I not only watched the QVC show demonstrated the use of the product, but I also found Mally's commercial video online which introduced and demonstrated the use of this whole kit... on her own bare face. I can say with certainty that what I received was not AT ALL what was described by Mally herself. The primer was NOT creamy, it was NOT blend-able, and it could NOT be worn alone, or under makeup, or over makeup. It was dry, flaky, and powdery. Not only that, the primer case broke after 1 use and would no longer close.

I LOVE most Mally products. I use her Perfect Prep Primer, BB Face Defender Foundation, Blush, Luminzer, eye pencils, dream brow, volumizing mascara, and love them all.

In comparison to other Mally products this kit was just BAD. When I saw that it was no longer available on the QVC site, I assumed QVC (or Mally) had it removed because of the number of bad reviews and returns.
