I have been reading reviews on various beauty products lately.
I have come across a term that I am obviously missing out on!
I have seen this all over the place - "meh."
What the heck does this mean?

It's one of those words that means what it sounds like -- nothing to write home about.

Not only in beauty reviews, but it's become an expression often use in other areas too, to mean, in essence, "no big deal".

I remember my Italian mother shrugging and saying, "Mezza mez!" It's the abbreviated form of "mezza mezza," or "in the middle." Not bad, not great, just sort of average.
