Do you long haired ladies have a special product you use after you wash and condition?

I use WEN products so I don't need a separate detangler.

I always use Infusium 23.

I use WEN and still need a detangler, lol! I've tried alot of detanglers but many have drying ingredients in them unfortunately. The one I continuously go back to is Orofluido's hair elixir. It is great for detangling my long hair, smells great and gives my hair shine. I apply it on wet hair and my comb glides right through it.
Great thread- I'd love to see what others use.

Most of the spray detanglers are pretty similar. What worked best for me was having the hairdresser chop off about 4 inches of hair. Wasn't planning on having that much removed but had to go back, they left it very uneven. I like it though and doesn't tangle anywhere near as much. My hair is very fine and wavy-curly. It's a little past my shoulders left naturally curled but would be longer if I bothered to straighten it which I don't.

i am going to recommend these brushes, which i use on wet/damp hair. i first found then on SHOPHQ when they were a top value and bought a set of two. they are fantastic when used after your shower and really get all the knots and tangles out without needing any extra "stuff" on your hair. i highly recommend it....could not believe how great it works.
michel mercier ultimate detangling brush (i use the pink one, which is for fine hair)

I bought the original Tangle Teaser which is very similar. I found that unfortunately it pulled out my hair more than pulling out knots. I have seen this version, haven't tried it. Glad it works for you. I now use mine to get hair out of my boar-nylon hair-brush.

I had hair to my bottom and used a wide tooth pick. Now that my hair is to my shoulders, I still use a pick. I find it works very well to detangle my hair after I wash it and to prevent damage to the hair. You can also use a spray in detangler or some hair oils like argon or moroccan. Those add great things to your hair and will aid in picking it out.

I have wen and all wen products but nothing works like Argan Magic Intensive Hair Oil you can get it at several different places like amazon, eBay, haute look even will carry it at times. I apply it after I take my hair out of my towel. I just put a small amount in my hands and run it through my hair. It is very inexpensive and makes my hairs so soft, smooth and shinny even when I let it dry on it's own. Wen styling products don't hold a candle to it, you can even apply to dry hair and it doesn't make it oily. I know Joise has Argan oil, but that would cost a fortune to use daily. Because I have very tick hair sometimes when I blow dry it gets too poofie, so I just put some Argan Magic back in and it is perfect.

You can make your own. Just put 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar to 20oz of water in a spray bottle. Spray on wet hair and use a boar brush. Don't rinse out. Detangles and makes hair shiny!
