What do you do with old Shampoo and Conditioner

I am about to go revisit Pantene Rosewater Sulfate Free Shampoo and Conditioner. I was using some Clairol Shampoo and Conditioner and previous to that Biosilk. Do you keep the old bottles in case you plan to revisit them or trash them. I have a cabinet full of previously used items. Thank you all

I use old or unwanted shampoos as hand soap. The unwanted conditioners are used as fabric softeners in the final rinse as you would do with liquid Downy.

I tend to use up every shampoo/conditioner I've had, but on the few occasions there's a really old one I'm just not finishing, I'll toss it...usually not much left by then.

But, that said...shampoos could clean makeup brushes.

Conditioners ....I know people have shaved their legs, underarms with that. I just use soap, shower gel, so would never need that.

The only things I can think of at the moment.

@amyb I am fickle about beauty products alway looking for the next best thing. At 70 I no longer have leg or underm hair

I don't have old shampoo that hasn't been poured into hand wash pumpers, but use leftover conditioner as lotion to shave legs in the shower. I've been known to pour 2 shampoos together if I like both.

@I am still oxox I'm so jealous of you not having to shave anymore, lol! I'm also 70, and still have to shave legs daily. Underarms could probably use shaving every 3 days, but I don't wear sleeveless tops, so I only do it once a week.

@vermint I have one crazy long hair that grows over night under my right arm aside from that I do not know the last time I shaved. What is gone from my lower body is replaced by pesky chin hairs

I used to take all my unused products to the Women's Help Center or the Salvation Army (for use in their in the showers, but am no longer active with either group so I usually toss them or donate shampoos to one of the animal rescue groomers. FYI-they also appreciate Dawn dish detergent.

@I am still oxox I'm also plagued by chin hairs! Honestly, I'd never complain about leg/underarm har again, if only that unwanted facial hair would go away!
