Morning!!

I finished a bottle of Tatcha Essence. I quit using it for a while and then decided to use it up.  I started putting it all over face and body! LOL.  It's a great plumper.  My intention was to use it up and move on.  But I did get another bottle.  I use that and then the Josie Maran Milk face and body.  I am seeing good results.

I pitched a container of Bare Minerals foundation.  I like the bisque and I thought I should try the foundation again.  But I didn't like after all.  The bisque is really the better product for me.  I don't need it all over.  just a little coverage here and there. 

A jar of Dr Nassif ezcema cream.  I liked the cream but I have jar of Josie Maran Pink Algae Retinol Body Butter.  I plan to use that next.   

I gave my mom a bottle of Amazing Grace.  I used it one day and it gave me a headache!  So I decided to pass this one on.  She loves it and wears it a lot.  I bought and would wear it just to feel close to her.  So glad it founda home.  It was the big bottle.  I don't know why I had a reaction to it.  Bummer.

I was trying to use up a small travel size Philosophy Olive Oil Pure Grace scrub, but I just threw out the rest. The tiny bottle just kept falling out of my shower rack. Plus....though I have tried...and only because usually they come with other products in a kit, I've never understood the use of scrubs. I get what they are supposed to do...just never found them effective. Not Philosophy, not Josie's either. Always wind up tossing them before using them up. I have had some dry, flaky tan skin on my legs this summer, thought this might sloff it off...it didn't. Totally usesless product to me. Rant over.

I finally got down to the bottom of a Wen SAM replenishing mist. I only ever use this occasionally when either putting a few rollers in my bang area for lift, or bringing life to my frizzy waves during the week before the next wash. I bought that bottle years ago!! I'd like to have another on hand for the above reasons, so I'll look for a deal. It's not a big necessity for me. He's got so many seasonals, but I've always found Sweet Almond Mint to be fresh and a good all year 'round scent. I do still have two small travel sized ones left in SAM and Winter Vanilla Mint.

Also finished up Eleven Smoothing shampoo. Still have some conditioner left from that duo. Already bought replacements. LOVE this shampoo/conditioner...leaves my wavy hair, soft, shiny, silky, good body, lightweight...just great. Pricey, but worth it. A hairdresser friend first gifted it to me, and I've loved it since.

I have recently been going through all my stored up travel things, purging what's old or no longer wanted. I found another small bag of trial things in my bathroom I'm going to go through soon see what can be tossed.

I guess that's it for me. Hot again here in CT, but not complaining...I want summer to go on forever...as usual!

A few more I thought of:

Finally tossed an old Mally eye shadow stick that came with a collection...this color I never use...it's a frosted dark purple. Yikes. No. I have blue/green eyes...always read purples are supposed to look good with green eyes. But this is too garrish, especially on my older eyes. Who my kidding...I always wear the same neutral colors and always will! They look the most flattering and natural.

Tossed an old It cosmetics Bye Bye Concealer. I didn't even buy this, mom did and gave to me...and she's been gone two years! I have several new concealers I tried this year that I like enough (Loreal, Sephora) and this one irritated my eyes whenever I used it. Maybe because it's too old, maybe it just doesn't agree with me...either way...gone and not to be replaced. I find I don't like a "squeeze tube" concealer, always too much wasted inside. Also, this was too thick and gooey to me.

Also tossed an item that was given to me from items someone got in those monthly "boxes" they got...I don't even know what brand it was but it was one of those "moisture burst" products you're supposed to blot on your skin throughout the day, to moisten your skin. Useless. What took me so long to toss that?

Hello! This week I did a "declutter" in my hair care drawer. Purged a few combs and brushes. I discovered I was at trend of my one and only shiny silver shine spray. Headed to the beauty supply store today,

I also declutted a benefit blush, just never worked for me. And I finally, finally, finally finished my philosophy purity. I bought a big bottle that lasted forever! I don't know if I will repurchase. I think I want to try something new. Have a great day beauy buddies!
