slow week for me!!!!

Used up:

Farmhouse Fresh soap! (back ups for sure.... love!)

Malin & Goetz Rum wash (back up ... love!) - as hand wash in powder room

Here is my list for the week:

Doll 10 Skin Perfecting Powder - replaced with a Skinn Flawless Finish Compact from my stash

Acure Radically Rejuvenating Eye Cream - had a replacement ready.

Distinction Firmalift Serum - I’ve been using this on and around my eyes for quite some time. I finished my last one. I decided to go off it and see what happens.

Perlier Shea Butter Mousse ((blood orange) - Where’s the scent? I was looking forward to trying this, but again am disappointed that the scent is essentially non-detectable. I can smell it right at the begin but then it goes away. My plan to use this as a summer scent instead of cologne has been thwarted. It’s going back. Now I’m wondering if it’s going to happen with all the Korres I just bought too?

Perlier Honey Royal Jelly Body Cream 2pc. (lemon) - was an HSN TS - decided to cancel this one too since there was no detectable scent. I’m only sticking with the plain one (for now) since I like it as a body cream but it’s another disappointment regarding the scent.

Westmore Mascara - found in an obscure place, opened it to give it a try and it was dried up. Pitched it.

Tweak’d Supersize Shampoo, Conditioner and Restore Treatment kit (Fleur Blanc) HSN A/S - cancelled my A/S since I have more shampoo & conditioner than I need.

I used up a bottle of Korres Body Wash. I think it was some rose scent. Very nice. Think I have another in my stash.

I made my first purchases from Perlier this week and the blood orange was one of my items. I am disappointed to hear it has no scent. I also purchased the almond cream with the pink pearls. I tried to the other night and while it is a nice moisturizer and the pearls melt quickly, the scent wasn't what I was expecting. I will keep it but I was hoping for more of an almond scent.

Ugh. My first batch of Korres body creams arrived. I opened one this morning and tried it. Guess what? There's barely any scent, to begin with, and it soon disappears. Again, I had hubby give it a sniff and he could barely smell anything either. I'm peeved. These are going back and so will the ones coming tomorrow. I'm moving on.

That's unfortunate. Their creams usually have a strong scent that stays with you. I will comment on the body wash though...that smells nice in the shower but I think it wears off rather quickly. Too quickly for my taste.

Happy weekend beauties!

I used up: Bar of Softsoap lavendar from the shower- replaced with a bar of Bolero Vanilla sugar and raspberry 6.25oz from dollar tree. The scents on these are very light so hubby can use them too. It's a big bar for $1.25 so a good value.

Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair serum 7ml sample size- this had an odd scent that I didn't care for but other than that it was a perfectly fine serum. I used it up on my neck and chest. I rarely use serums, just cleanser and moisturizer.

I don't think body wash scents are meant to last long, so I don't have a problem with them.

The Korres in-shower-oil serum has a nice scent (sea lavender) and lasts for several hours after use. I'm surprised about the Korres creams not having much scent.

I'm looking at ordering more Korres and am interested in the Yoghurt gel cream moisturizer. The yoghurt cleanser is nice, and I liked the samples of the yoghurt hydro-drome mask I received.

I opened one of mine to check for scent and you are correct. Not a lot of smelling goodness in the tube. After using one of the creams for a couple of days I think it is a nice cream and I will keep mine. I am just disappointed on the lack of scent.
