What did you use up this week? 6/16

Hi Friends,

Used up:

24 oz. Philosophy Cafe Au Lait 3 n 1-  This is a nice coffee scent.  I started out with this in the shower, then used it as hand soap, then the rest back in the shower. It pairs really nicely with Tree Hut Velvet Coffee Scrub. Replaced with Amazing Grace 3 n 1 from the stash.

Mally Shadow Stick in  Saddle Shimmer- I absolutely love this color. It is discontinued. I replaced it with another of the same that was already open in the travel bag. Sadly that's the last one in the stash.

Trader Joe's Rose Bath Salts- this was a one-packet use from the advent calendar. It was really nice, I wish they would make it full-size and offer it year-round.

How about you?

Have a good weekend. Be well all!

Have a good weekend.

Hello Beauty Friends!

A few things for me this week!

-Vaseline Advanced Repair Lotion, small tube that I got on a recent trip when I ran out of lotion.

-Garnier Micellar Water, replaced with the Blue version for waterproof make-up, removes my sunscreen better!

-ELF Brow Wow, just OK, prefer NYX or Benefit better.

-Ulta Brand Micro Brow Pencil, like this and may re-purchase, the blond color is good for summer, but I remain addicted to Dior and NYX brow pencils!

-Maybelline Stay Matte Ink Crayon in Lead the Way, will buy another ASAP. This is a great neutral color and I love this formula

-Neutrogena Wipes, replaced with same!

Have a super weekend and be well!

Re: What did you use up this week? 6/16

I polished off two skincare items this week:

Naturium - Vitamin C Complex Serum.  I didn't realize how low I was running and did not have a back-up.  Off to Target I go on Saturday!

Paula's Choice - Peptide Booster.  I have two back-ups so I didn't miss a beat!

I have two items this week:

Clean It Zero - cleansing balm.  Liked it fine but replaced with Palmer's Cleansing Face OIl.

Naturium - Retinol Complex Serum.  Replaced with same.  Always have back-ups of my Naturium items.

Essence Lash Primer - used up, opened a new one from my stash.

Benefit BadGal Bang Mascara
- used up, opened a new one from my stash.

Korres Mega Tube Elasti-Smooth Body Butter (Pure Cotton, Gardenia, Vanilla Blossom, Wnite Blossom, Passionfruit, Jasmine) - all it took was one try of one tube to know they weren’t what I expected.  I was so hoping for long lasting scents that I could use instead of cologne for everyday.  The one I opened had very little scent and what scent there was vanished quickly.  Then to find out they were outdated was one big disappointment.  I’m moving on from Korres, except for my donkey milk serum.  And that hasn’t be around for awhile so HSN could end up canceling my A/S anyway.

Perlier Black Rice Eye Serum - used up, opened a new one.

Re: What did you use up this week? 6/16

Elf Halo Glow finishing Powder-Already repurchased. The container lasted a long time.

Maybelline 24-hour Lip Gloss-I already repurchased. I always stick with a pink shade, look at the display, and pick one out.

Josie Maran Pineapple Enzyme Face Wash-I purchased a few in the supersize on a special sale. They came with a cute headband; I pulled one from my stash.

Several Retinol samples had these from my esthetician, and I wanted to use them. I use them on my neck, chest, forearms, and hands.

Toni Braxton Body Wash in Nude Sugar-This was a TSV from HSN a while ago. I already used up the body cream, and I liked this. If it were offered again, I would buy the set.

@JeanLouiseFinch

What do you like about the Essence Lash Primer?  I'm not married to any one in particular.  I'm using IT Cosmetics Tightline as my primer.  I like that it is black but wouldn't mind trying something new.

Also, I've used Benefit They're Real mascara for years.  How do you like the BadGal Bang?  I've considered trying it, but haven't actually bought it.

I'd love to hear your feedback!

Hi @SurferWife The Essence lash primer is white, so that may be a drawback for you.  For me, it works just as well as the L'Oréal Voluminous Lash Base, but is a whole lot cheaper.

The BadGal Bang mascara has become a favorite. I get length and enough natural looking fullness without clumping or flaking. I don't notice any running and everything stays until I remove it.  I've only purchased the regular, not the waterproof.  When I find it on sale, it's closer drugstore pricing but not as good as Essence Lash Princess which is what I use when I can't find BGB discounted.   HTH

Re: What did you use up this week? 6/16

@kathie66   Sadly I used up my last backup of my Clinique Pink Spice lipstick....I had 3 or more backups. It was a great pinky/beige/ nude and a sheer formula that I could apply w/o a mirror and kept my lips moist.

Clinique has nothing else like it in their Different Lipstick line, so onward and upward for an in person swatch and hunt.
