Re: What did you use up this week? 5/31

[ Edited ]

2 more items for me this week:

Living Proof thickening mousse. Loved this stuff. Was light and not sticky, at all, in my hair, giving it just enough lift at the roots and a little lightweight body to it. SO of COURSE LP has stopped making it, with no replacement in site. I asked at Sephora and they said something due to ingredients, and that they hadn't heard of any replacement yet. Been off the shelves for at least a year. I guess I should check ebay, who will now charge $100, if they even have it! 🤣

Dr. Bronner's Flouride Free toothpaste. Hm. I think I might have been unnecessarily "influenced" into getting this. I follow "Flav City" on social media...Bobby Parish, who advises all things "healthy" ingredients, in food, toiletries etc. He did this whole thing on how all the Flouride, in our water, toothpaste etc, NOT GOOD for us. My dentist kind of looked at me like I was an alien when I asked about it.

Anyhoo...this toothpaste didn't lather up enough, dissipated too quickly, and I felt didn't clean my teeth as well, without applying it twice. I did like the more clean and natural peppermint taste it has. Didn't hate it. Didn't love it.

It came in a 3 pack on Amazon, I gave one to bf, and I have one left I'll use up. May or may not buy again. But, I am using good ole Crest & Colgate, in between still too.

So that is IT for me for this week!

Sensodyne ProNamel Toothpaste - Replaced with same or similar formula.

Seoul Cleansing Balm - HSN is out of the Cherry Blossom scent which is the one I prefer, so I'll be using the Instytutum cleanser I got on a GMA Steals & Deals deal.  I do really like it but I WON'T be buying it at $60 though, and they don't seem to have sales.  It should last quite awhile though.

Threw out a couple of lipsticks.
