Hello ladies. Happy Friday. I used up:

CVS 360 nail polish remover. Had a back up.

Josie Maran body butter in Lavender. Other lotions to use up. I have a half of a 16 oz lemon custard from Philosophy that I'm going to use up next.

Q tips. Need to replace. No back up.

Today I tossed more than a 1/2 bottle left of "360 Nail Polish remover" (CVS brand?...got it there)....Buyer beware: THE WORST nail polish remover I've ever used. It takes about ten minutes to try to rub and rub and rub and rub off your nail polish. And just for reference...I have my natural nails and regular (not gel) polish on. ...usually pretty darn easy to remove!

Finally just bought a bottle of OPI remover on Amazon, took off my polish today in less than 2 minutes! Yeesh. But it's a small bottle for $6.95...so just using 'til I get my favorite...which is...

...the best polish remover I've ever used, "One & Other." Bought it, randomly, at my CVS a few years ago...they didn't have it last time, but will look for it again next time I'm there, so I just let Amazon send me OPI in the interim. I know I can find it online but will check my CVS again first.

***Update, omg @lynnie61 Only JUST saw your post after I posted this....I guess you have no problems with the "360 nail polish remover!" (do you get the one in the blue label bottle?)

@amyb I wonder if you got a bad batch. I use the blue and I believe the pink bottle too. One was strengthening, not sure what the other one is. Easily removes my polish with a cotton round. No hard rubbing, etc......hmmm believe me, I do my nails every 5 or 6 days, never had an issue. I just looked, the replacement I already have is the blue label. Nourishing. I believe my other bottle was strengthening. Trash is gone, so I can't even check. I will check back in when I do my nails in a couple days.

@amyb Just an update, you really had me curious. I just used the blue beauty 360 nail polish remover. Did 10 nails in under a minute or so with one cotton round, and I had two coats of a red and a top coat. I think maybe you got a bad batch. Could have it been old? I do believe I've also purchased their other brand one + other in the past. They always have sales or % off coupons or $ off a purchase. That's why I started getting them at cvs.

So weird. And I tried it many times, with same tough results...'til I just gave up. And I hate to waste things, so I really gave it a go. I hadn't had it long, but was it a bad batch, who knows. But I mean, who gets a bad batch of nail polish remover; how would that even go bad? But anything is possible.

Obviously, we had such different experiences with it. I do get coupons from CVS etc, and it's easy to pick up stuff like this there for me. The only reason I bought the 360 that day was because they didn't have that One & Other, I had previously gotten there. That one I was SO impressed with I thought it would be my new Holy Grail that I could pick up locally all the time. Unfortunately, ever since the pandemic, my CVS is so random with what brands you'll find there, and what they'll consistently carry! Anyway, I'll just stick with that One & Other, to be safe, wherever I wind up having to buy it...but hopefully I'll see it at my CVS again.
