Re: What did you use up this week? 2/24

[ Edited ]

@kate2357   My ELTA MD is not tinted. I have both to wear the uintinted under foundation and the tinted DRMTLGY is all I need for everyday "no makeup days".

Just to check, I went in my bathroom now and put one pump of the DERMTLGY tinted (they do have an untinted as well) into my hand and there's no fragrance.

My Elta  MD is in a standing canister broad spectrum 46 and has the word "clear" after UV.... I don't have the tube in your pic. My records show it's around $43 and DRMTLGY tinted is $28 on their site. They also have an untinted SPF 45 for $26 that I'll purchase to replace the ELTA as soon as I use it up.

Not only big price difference, but I find the DRMTLGY to be a bettertexture and the tinted has a bit more coverage than an ELTA MD tinted that I tried.

Sorry for all the confusion. I go through a lot of SPF using it everyday all the way down my chest if wearing an open collar.

Thanks @Shanus for this info.  I'm going to try the DRMTLGY option when I need more spf as it is much less expensive than the ELTA MD.

I only used up one thing, Bath and Body Works Aromatherapy Sleep Body Wash.  I love 💕 this stuff.  Already have another ready to open.   Everything else is taking forever to use up.

Borgesi Antioxidant: Cream and Dr. Perricone Neck Cream

I think that everyone should be using and antioxidant liquid or cream to fight the brown spots of aging.

I actually threw the Dr. Perricone Cold Plasma neck cream out as I can not take the smell of it.

Re: What did you use up this week? 2/24

Well, I was shamed into replacing my 3+ year old mascara and buying a new one.  Do you know how much mascara has gone up in 3+ years???  I couldn't believe my eyes.  I had the gold tube Loreal Telescopic and bought the black tube in it's place.  It was a couple of dollars less and I only use it on my bottom lashes since I wear falsies.  I smelled both tubes looking for a difference in smell since that's a good way to detect if something is bad or not.  They smelled the same but the old one was just a little stronger.  I tossed it anyway since I had a new one.

@Swedishmiss   If you check view your deal dot com, today they are offering Butter London products half price.  They do have a Serum Shadow, but only in Maplewood.  If that's your color, it's a good deal!

@AnnieBelle Thank you for letting me know!  I haven't tried "maplewood".  I found that "driftwood" is the perfect taupey color for me.  I think it was originally recommended on the board by @rochelleS (by I might be mistaken).
