GWP Lancome Genifique Serum- this was ok, replacing it with a Roc Retinol Serum from stash. 

Vicks Shower Soothers- so happy to have found these again. They have really helped with cold symptoms this last week. Replaced with another box from the stash.

Happy New Year beauties.  I used up:

Cover girl big curl mascara -  probably the worst clumping dried up mascara I ever used.  It’s going out!  Turquiose tube.

Snow angel 6oz 3-1.  Replaced with a Neutrogena ocean mist rain bath.  Got a super deal on this at Kohl’s with my Kohl’s cash.  Free is good!  

@kathie66. I’m getting some of those Vick’s shower tablets.  I didn’t know they made them again. Thanks for sharing.  Perfect if you are feeling cold symptoms.

Good morning!

Didn't use up anything but did go through my makeup/skin care and tossed items that were almost gone and that I wasn't using anymore or things that I was keeping because "I might use it" but never really liked and wasn't using.  I needed to toss all the clutter as it was driving me nuts.

Clarice foundaiton - just didn't like it, color wasn't right, and I had moved on.

Eye pencils - too many to name but pared them down to the basic colors I know that I'll wear.  One each of black, brown, navy, gray, and plum.  I don't wear eyeliner much so don't need a lot of pencils.  These basics will probably last me forever.

Eyeshadow sticks - these just don't work for me and I never use them nor really liked them so tossed.

Milani - soft focus glow.  Its a nice product but I just didn't use it much

ELF - a GWP yellow powder.  Forgot I even had it.  Got it a few months back and never used it and would never use it so out it goes

Smashbox - a trial size super small tube of their primer.  This was so old, I means years and years old, so tossed it.  Love this primer but have lots of primers to go through. Will probably go back to it when done with what I have.

Felt good to do a little purge so that now when I open my makeup case/skin care, I see what I use and not a lot of extra stuff mixed in.

Just one for me this week:

Ulta Micro Brow pencil. I bought this on a recommendation from  beauty YouTuber Mandy Lea. It was a BOGO deal, so I had a back-up! I will purchase this again. Great color match and easy to use, stays put.

This week I finished

10 Oz. bottle of Elemis Sharp Shower Gel. I love it. It's costly.
I will try to refrain from purchasing this as I have enough shower gel, body wash and soaps to last me into 2024!Both opened and unopened brands.

 My son loves Elemis, so only if he really misses it and asks about it, will I repurchase.

Carmex hand cream. I thought I had finished this. I don't like it. It really has a medicinal smell that I can't get with. No more for me.

Sample size Kiel's body lotion. It was nice but I'll skip the purchase. I brought out of my stash; a pump bottle of Kiss My Face olive oil body lotion. It's been opened for some time. It still smells fresh and I forgot how good this was.
Again, I have many lotions as well,  so when I'm done I will move on to another opened or stashed lotion. I also have to delay my AD on my philosophy order because I have at least 2 variations of Amazing Grace soufflé and body creme at home. I also keep a small one at work. 

I really buy these sets for the AG perfume, which I use more frequently ( I actually spray my bedding and closet with AG perfume) rather than the stuff that comes with it, but  I can't resist the price break of the sets! 

CVS unscented baby wipes. So good. I like these best. Replacing with the same.

Did anyone hear about a dry shampoo recall? My mom didn't know the brand and I haven't heard about it. I use Batiste regularly. Nearing  the end of my can, and have numerous colors and scents stashed. I hope 🤞it's not them !

@KBEANS I have to thank you, I bought the Elemis Sharp Shower Gel after you mentioned it a while ago. I opened it when I started this cold and it is another product that has been helping my chest congestion with its minty smell the last week. I really like it!

As far as the dry shampoo recall, I looked it up, and as far as I can tell Batiste isn't part of the recall. Proctor and Gamble products were involved, I remember Pantene & Herbal Essence Dry Shampoo being listed. Hope this helps!

Now, I'll have to rethink not purchasing that shower gel. It is special isn't it. It makes a nice gift for my son...then I can sneakily use it. 😝 So glad I gave a decent recommendation for you! 

Full disclosure...I have used this to wash my hair and liked the results! As a matter of fact, this morning. Another justification to reorder 😂 Thankfully it is not my New Years Resolution.!

Thanks for the good news on the dry shampoo. I was so not looking forward to finding another brand.
